Bunge to discontinue soybean processing in Danville, Ill.

November 09, 2009 - St. Louis, Missouri - Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG), announced that it has promoted Todd Bastean to vice president and chief financial officer and Geri Hayes to vice president of human resources effective December 31, 2009. Bastean replaces Michael Scharf who has been CFO since 1990 and will be assuming a new global role with Bunge Limited under the direction of chief financial officer Jackie Fouse.
