Bunge to discontinue soybean processing in Danville, Ill.

February 22, 2010 - St. Louis, Missouri - Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG), announced that it is discontinuing soybean processing and related plant operations at its facility in Danville, Ill. effective April 23. Bunge names CFO and VP of Human Resources for North America

November 09, 2009 - St. Louis, Missouri - Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG), announced that it has promoted Todd Bastean to vice president and chief financial officer and Geri Hayes to vice president of human resources effective December 31, 2009. Bastean replaces Michael Scharf who has been CFO since 1990 and will be assuming a new global role with Bunge Limited under the direction of chief financial officer Jackie Fouse. Bunge partners with two leading agribusiness firms to build export grain terminal in the Pacific Northwest

June 01, 2009 - St. Louis, Missouri - Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG), announced that it has created a joint venture with ITOCHU and STX Pan Ocean to build and operate a state-of-the-art export grain terminal at the Port of Longview, Wash. Bunge Acquires Corn Dry Milling Assets from J.R.Short Milling

Short Milling Company used in its traditional corn dry mill operations as well as the assets to operate its specialty product line. The purchase does not include J.R. Short’s pellet division.
